This intense, four-hour comprehensive course is designed for shooters of all levels who are interested in completing their concealed carry permit class requirements. Our instructors will review handgun safety and concealed carry laws in Colorado. Our concealed carry permit class meets all Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, and Florida concealed carry class requirements.
Our NRA Basic Pistol Course is a ten-hour class perfect for new shooters. This class will cover the fundamentals of handgun safety and education, including ammunition, marksmanship, and safe gun handling. Students will spend five hours in the classroom and the other five hours in the shooting range.
Students will learn the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for shooting rifles in this course with Colorado Handgun Safety. At least fourteen hours long, this course includes classroom and range time so you can develop the necessary knowledge needed to safely and accurately shoot rifles.
Like our other NRA Basic courses, this class will teach you everything you need to know to safely and properly use a shotgun. Our NRA Basic Shotgun Course is at least ten hours long and will cover the fundamentals of shotguns, like shotgun shell components, malfunctions, and shooting basics. You will also spend at least five hours in the range learning how to shoot at moving targets.
Our NRA Refuse to be a Victim Course teaches participants how to protect themselves from crime. This course includes hands-on exercises and covers a range of topics from workplace safety to home security. Our instructors have an extensive understanding of self-protection tactics and are here to provide you with the highest level of education.
Colorado Handgun Safety provides the Pueblo community with top-of-the-line self-defense training for protection in the home. During the class, you will learn home safety strategies, basic defensive shooting skills, and much more. We want you to feel confident in how to safely use a firearm in high-stress situations.
Our NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Course is taught by NRA-certified training counselors. This course has two levels. Level one is nine hours and covers essential information for self-defense. Once students complete level one, you will move to level two to complete an additional five-hour class that covers advanced self-defense skills, including time at the shooting range.
Whether you have been ordered to complete a safety course or you’re a prosecutor looking for a class to enroll your clients in, Colorado Handgun Safety can help. Our class is four hours long and will cover the responsibility of owning a weapon as well as safe assembly and disassembly. This is a lecture-style class only, which means participants won’t handle firearms.
Colorado Handgun Safety is proud to provide a women’s concealed carry course for those looking to meet their concealed carry course training requirements with an added focus on women’s firearm safety. This class covers all of the fundamentals of handgun safety but includes relevant education specifically for women, such as choosing the right handgun, concealed carry methods, and women’s holster options.
