The NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor Course equips potential instructors with the tools to effectively pass on the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.
Prerequisites: Instructor candidates must be both an NRA Certified Pistol, Personal Protection In The Home Instructor and have attended the NRA Basic Instructor Training with in the last 24 months. Candidates must have attended an NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home course (Student Level).
