Legal requirements around firearm education in Colorado have changed. Court-ordered handgun safety classes are now standalone courses and can no longer be fulfilled by taking a CCW class, as was previously allowed.
Colorado Handgun Safety offers a court-ordered gun safety class that meets all current state and court requirements. This classroom-based course provides approved firearm safety education for individuals who are required to complete training as part of probation, reinstatement, or other court directives. Our team provides clear instruction in a professional, respectful, and non-judgmental environment to help participants complete their requirements and move forward with confidence.
