This Course develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operation. The course is 9 hours long and is conducted in a classroom at the Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex.
Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), range inspection, range rules, range safety briefings, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions procedures.
We will provide all required NRA materials needed.
NRA RSO Certification is a Prerequisite for NRA Chief RSO Class.
