After successful completion, you’ll receive your certificate. From there, you’ll apply for your concealed handgun permit through your county sheriff’s office.
No. Your permit is issued by your county sheriff’s office, not Colorado Handgun Safety. The class gives you the training certificate needed for the application process.
Colorado Handgun Safety can train students applying through any Colorado county. Once an instructor is properly verified under Colorado law, students from all 64 Colorado counties can complete training with that instructor.
