Denver’s Best Concealed Carry Classes

Colorado’s CCW laws have changed — and your training needs to keep up. Our Denver concealed carry classes meet Colorado’s newest requirement, including live-fire and in-person training. Sign up for a class today, and protect your CCW rights.

Outdated Training Could Put Your CCW Rights at Risk

Colorado’s concealed carry laws have changed, and relying on outdated training can put you at risk. To legally carry concealed, applicants must now complete state-approved, in-person training that includes live-fire qualification. Classes that don’t meet these standards may leave you ineligible for a permit — or worse, unintentionally out of compliance.

Failing to meet Colorado’s current CCW requirements can result in:

  • Denied or delayed permit applications

  • Legal penalties if you carry without a valid permit

  • Fines or jail time for non-compliance

  • Long-term impacts on employment and firearm ownership

Proper training ensures your certification is accepted and your permit process moves forward without complications. Our Denver CCW classes meet Colorado’s latest requirements, including the mandated 8-hour instruction and live-fire training, so you can carry legally and with confidence.

State-Compliant Training for Every Skill Level

Our concealed carry classes are built to meet all of Colorado’s latest CCW requirements. Whether you’re brand new to firearms or renewing your permit, our training prepares you to carry legally, responsibly, and with confidence.

For permit holders who need to renew, we offer a 2-hour renewal course for $89. Class fees are separate from county permit application and background check fees, which are paid directly to your local sheriff’s office.

Under Colorado’s current law, new concealed carry applicants must complete a minimum of 8 hours of in-person training, which includes classroom instruction and live-fire qualification. Renewal courses are shorter and typically take 2 hours, depending on eligibility and county requirements.

Yes. Colorado requires that your training certificate be recent at the time of application. Most counties require the certificate to be dated within a specific timeframe prior to submission, so it’s important to complete your training close to when you plan to apply.

No. Online-only CCW classes no longer meet Colorado’s requirements. Current law mandates in-person instruction and live-fire training, which cannot be completed online. All of our CCW classes are conducted in person and fully comply with state law.

After successfully completing your CCW class, you’ll receive a certificate of completion that you can submit with your permit application to your county sheriff’s office.
